The highly-anticipated Xiaomi 13 Ultra model is set to be unveiled this month, following a flurry of leaks and rumors. While many details about the smartphone have already been revealed, it appears that the device will not be available for sale in certain countries. So which are these countries?
Xiaomi 13 Ultra won’t be launched in Turkey, India, Indonesia, and Japan
According to insider information from MIUI tipster Kacper Skrzypek, the highly anticipated Xiaomi 13 Ultra smartphone is set to miss out on a launch in some major markets. Countries such as India, Indonesia, Turkey, and Japan are expected to miss out on the phone launch, as there are currently no MIUI firmware builds available for these regions. This news is likely to disappoint Xiaomi fans in these countries who were eagerly anticipating the release of this device.
The Xiaomi 13 Ultra will reportedly only be available in a select few Western countries, in addition to its home market of China. The device will come with five MIUI builds: China, Global, EEA, Russia, and Taiwan. Although it’s not clear why Xiaomi has decided to limit the availability of the phone in certain regions, this move may be due to various reasons, such as market demand, regulatory restrictions, and logistical challenges. Nonetheless, this decision by Xiaomi may provide an opportunity for other smartphone manufacturers to fill the gap in these markets and offer similar devices to meet the demands of consumers.
